it can't be done without an expensive LCD controller. Thet in the picture is probably a playstation LCD or one of those displays they use in cars. Those use composite signals, while laptop lcd's often have their own interface.

now i could be mean and use the smile however im in a good mood

ok back to basics you need the following to get a fully working LCD

    1. The LCD itself
    2. A controler for the LCD
    3. A backlight and Invertor so you can actuly see the screen

The one you are going to have a problem with will be the controler.

since this is a laptop its very very likly to be built into the laptop motherboard, this means that you need to either buy a new controler OR use the laptop as a whole.

Buying a seperate controler is going to cost you, and when i say cost you i mean alot £150+ at a rougth guess, and your going to need to get one that exactly fits the spec of the screen in question.

Using the entire laptop has its disadvantages as well, you will be using software to clone the output seen on your main monitor on ur LCD one this means that if the lappy aint powerfull enought it wont be able to do it very well, espcaily if there is graphicly intensive stuff going on, such as games. the other disadvantage is the physical size is increased greatly.

the above reasons are the reasons that you see this mod done so little.

If u need anymore info it can be found in this sticky http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=44604
anyway hope this is of help.
