Building a new machine for gaming, which CPU?

    Hello fellow bit-tech'ers!

    I just have one teeny question...

    I'm currently building a machine for gaming, and I'm going to be using the P5E Deluxe, along with 4GB of Mushkin RAM.

    I currently have the Q9550 in mind, but I was wondering if any other CPU would be better for gaming.

    For gaming, it doesn't matter much which you get as long as it's Core 2 and has a fairly high clock (overclock if needs be).. 3GHz should be enough for gaming.
