Here are the components I'm planning on buying, haven't completed it as yet. Any suggestions that people make will be helpful. :)
Im planning on playing high powered games on this PC such as HL2, Doom3 and want to try and make this PC last quite a long time.

    CPU - AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 90nm (Socket 939) Details

    Motherboard - Asus A8N-E Details

    Graphics - Leadtek PX7800GTX-TD256 GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB GDDR3 VIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) Details

    Memory - Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200C2 Pro TwinX (2x512MB) CAS2 (MY-026-CS) x2 Details

    Hard Drive - Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 200GB 2000JB ATA-100 8MB Cache - OEM (HD-002-WD)

Soundcard - - Built into the Motherboard

CD/DVD Drives - - None as of yet.

Monitor - Hyundai Imagequest L72D+ 17" LCD Monitor - Silver

Case - Thermaltake Sviking Middle Tower Case with Window

    OR

    Raidmax Cobra Silver 450W dual fan +2 fans +USB2.0 +audio +window +UK power lead

    OR

Sunbeam Samurai Gaming ATX Case - Silver (No PSU)

I already have decent speakers, keybaord and mouse.

I haven't got any cooling system or power supply yet. Any recommendations would be greatful. I'm looking for cheap ones which would do the job nicely.

    Thanks.

I'd go for the MSI K8N Neo4-F, I've heard that the Asus is being a bit picky with hardware.
Considering the rest, what the hell are you doing with those PSU's?
At least get an Antec/Hiper/Enermax/OCZ, otherwise your only going to get problems.

Also, get a seagate hard drive if you can, 5year warrentys are nice :)

Get a decent PSU. OCZ, Antec, tagan 400w or more, 480 -> ideally.
    Otherwise looks fine :)

I went for the Enermax PSU in the end because it has won many awards and seems to be highly recommended; it is also a tiny bit cheaper.

    Total Price of PC: £1,319.

Will all these components fit together properly/work together ? or have i made a mistake somewhere?

    Thanks.

You pay for a 4000+ then use AC97 sound? I fail to see the logic im afraid.

I dont like the case either, but each unto their own :p

Personally, I would go with the Hiper, mainly because of the extra power if you're doing dual 7800s and because of the simple cable management.
