I'm putting together a second box for file serving and general PC duties (IRC etc).
I would like it to be as quiet as possible, so right now I'm deciding on what processor to use. If I coupled an AthlonXP 2000+ with a Papst fan, would the CPU be sufficiently cooled?

I'm also considering the Via Epia M1000 but I'm not sure about the performance on a built-in 1GHz Via.

    Any feedback appreciated.

/edit: I'll be running this machine pretty much 24/7 in a room 28C.

I have a palamino 1800XP+ with the standard AMD cooler and that is fairly quiet and it runs at 48 degrees in a standard desktop case which system temp is 40 in the recent hot weather. Yep I know its high but its stable.
