I'm building my first PC (with help) and I just want to make sure I've got my money's worth (budget £600) and that all these parts are compatible. Also if there's anything else I'd need or need to change (fans? PSU?) then that'd be great

    Motherboard

    RAM

    CPU

    Graphics Card

    PSU

    Case

    HD

    CD Drive

    Thanks for any advice :)

All the Build seems fine to me, but why get the i5 2500? not the k version, any reasons?
Also i'd change the case to something like a antec one hundred and maybe change the mobo to a msi p67a gd53. but apart from that it all looks good. :)

I would also go for the i5 2500k, it is only a few pounds more but will give you a much longer life than the vanilla 2500 due to the overclocking headroom. Overclocking is no longer the preserve of the hardcore user that it was, it is really simple and makes a huge difference. I understand that people will often suggest spending more but in this case it is well justified.

All seems fine but I would maybe think about upgrading the cpu to a k series. I think your case would be fine but the spec looks nice.

    The RAM definatly not fine.
    Single channel. You want dual.

I would reccomended buying computer hardware on a site like
    http://www.scan.co.uk/
Better prices and superior support if you need to return a faulty.

Do you need to include a copy of windows in the price?
