burnt cpu

    would you say this is a burnt cpu and is dead as it is not working any more

    Picture is kind of blury so its hard to tell. CPU's that I have seen burnt though are usually VERY blackened... like you wouldn't have to ask.

    it is kind of black around where the circle is so sound like it is

    you could always put it in a mobo and find out. I dont think it should cause any damage but dont quote me on that.

    Didn't you just answer your own question? If it's not working in 1 board, then try it in a different one. It does look rather bork3d to me though :(

    it is borked. sorry but am not selling it to you as i will be using it for something just not sure what yet
