Buy used PSU?

    I found this used Antec Truepower 330W that's really cheap.. it's a year and a half old, and it has'nt been used very much.. price is 1/3 of a new one.. should I buy it?

    330w is not much nowadays try an get atleast 400/450w minium coz the newer hardware requires more power

    hehe, atm I'm using a 230w psu from a compaq (mod thread of it will be up tomorrow)

    I'm also thinking about buying a Aspire 500W (dunno name... but it's those with the stupid window thing..)

    that ne good?

    If you're not upgrading your system anytime soon I'd get it. If you're planning to upgrade to Athlon 64 in the not too distant future I'd get a decent PSU. I don't know about the Aspire, I've not heard of it but I can recommend:

    Tagan 480w
    OCZ Powerstream 520W

    or the like, the main thing to look for is a strong 12v rail (in otherwords look for the amps rating for the 12V rail on the powersupplies website, it should exceed 22A)
