I am looking at buying some more parts for my CPU only loop (i7-930), in my corsair 650d case.

So far, I have got the following -

    XSPC X2O 750
    XSPC RS240 Rad
    x2 Gentle Typhoon 1850rpm fans

I am just buying my last parts now. Just want to make sure I have covered everything.
Here is my last part of my order -

Bitspower 1/4" Thread Compression Fitting for 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD x8 (x2 to connect to drain valve)

    Masterkleer 1/2" ID - 3/4" OD (13-19mm) Flexible Tubing : Black / UV Blue x2 metres

EK Supreme HF Easy Mount CPU Waterblock Intel 1366

    Koolance 1/4" Thread Drain Valve

    Coolant

Would all these parts be compatible with each other? Also, I have not missed anything off, just to double check?

    Thanks

Great thanks Pete. Need to ditch my Titan Fenrir asap. Had to get rid of my overclock due to the heat. It hit 68c load on STOCK :jawdrop:

My Noctua hit the same temp at 3.8ghz o/c in this rig but had to sell it to fund some of my parts.

Once finished, the fenrir is going in the bin :hehe:

I use Halfords deionised water with a silver coil personally. Works perfectly well :)

I always put it the hose just before the water entered the first block.

Either that, or you can shove it in a reservoir.

Afaik you should actually avoid de-ionised water in a loop, over time it will replenish the missing ions causing corrosion and eventually gunk buildup. Distilled water with an antifungicide or pre-made fluid are the best bets.
