i see..cause im building a rig soon probably the week after. Been pondering for a hella long time either to go for Asus or MSI. then also the model V or the V-Pro... But i see the V-Pro has more USB port...or does the V have more then neccessary
You are confusing PSU and CPU. The CPU must have the K after the model number to overclock - you can overclock using any PSU that has the power to spare and is reliable enough. The PSU you linked is a decent on - TBH anything by Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, BeQuiet at the moment is decent bar the very cheap models. Also what PSU do you have now because like I said if it is a cheap generic one you run a high risk of it going bang when put it under load and that will take half you system with it costing you £100s. Cheap PSUs are very much a false economy.
I don't have a PSU, havn't had a gaming rigg for years mate Also how do I get the free delivery from scan do I need to contact them before my order? Cheers Ross
Then you will need one or nothing will work. Also look here. http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=186923
Calm down and give me a second. Only you can anwer that question as only you know how many you need. It has 4 USB 3 ports (these work with USB 2 devices) and 2 USB 2 ports. So the question is are 6 USB ports enough. And then there are the USB ports on the case that you can plug into the board.
