C² [stealthed drives 24th]

that mod is fine for when i get my lcd screen but i want ot stealth the cd drives...
and yes pixelness rooooooools ive done hundreds of stuff.

know it sounds dence but does any one know how do get the cd drives back further in the dragon cases without cutting those metal stopper things in the drive bays off.. .cheers

there are multiple holes on the fixing mounts. use a set that are closer to the front. For instance: you should be using the set furthest away at the mo.

I like the way that El Wire looks. I think you should put it both ways though. All the way around and in the grill. That would look cool.

i hate those rails with a passion... grrr i pushed my cd drive to far i guess once and it wouldnt come back out... the thing went past the stop tab and caught on it for the life of me i couldnt un do it i ended up drilling out practically all the rivets on my case to get it out.... that was the best several hours ive ever wasted

 

they are fine for quick release.. but im not a thief...
the case is fine but i cant wait till i get my lian li

 

still need help on stealthing the drives on this case bu until then heres a teaser at what ive got planned for the summer

 

humm, how pants. The ones that come with the Chieftech versions are much better... the only option would be to drill new holes. not an incredibly difficult thing to do. Measure as far back as you can go, you will need to butcher the end to get the screw in. Make sure the front holes go though the metal clip.
Should be possible.

 

I find those sliding clips for the drives kinda annoying. They're fine and easy to use on the mid-towers, but on my Chieftec full-tower you have to take off the entire front panel of the case to access the tabs to pull the drive out. Very inconvenient IMO.

its an AT mobo, probably socket 7 no faster than 500mhz.............
