Didn't know if this should be here or in troubleshooting, but here goes.

I have a M2N-E Sli Motherboard with C-Media CM6501 onboard sound. For some reason it's started making crackling noises when i listen to music or watch a video or play games, anything that uses sound. Sometimes its not too noticeable, other times its so annoying i stop my music so it will stop. Searching through Google came up with a few things, it was suggested it could have been my Logitech X-530s, but after unplugging those and plugging in my stereo it did nothing to help. Others suggested that it was my Xbox wireless receiver that was plugged in, so i unplugged it and still nothing. I've tried different drivers and nothing. I don't have room in my computer to plug in a dedicated sound card.

    Anyone able to help??
