Just a quick question i think. i have 2 pc's, 1 upstairs, one down. at the moment they are connected with a huge crossover cable which is untidy. Could i get 2 wall boxes connect them together, and use a crossover cable to connect each pc to the wallbox? Im guessing the two cables, cant remember which, will have to be sapped round in the wallboxes too.
if that made bugger all sense please let me know.

    Thanks

Get two RJ45 wall boxes, a length of CAT5 cable for the distance in between. get an insertion tool to Krone the lengths of cable to the boxes (they should be colour coordinated). All you need then is a crossover cable on one and a straight forward cable on the other end.

    good luck!
