I've been searching all over the internet to find some sort of guide to cable management and can't seem to find any good one. Would any of you happen to know a good site that has cable management tips? TIA!

    ill write one 4 you

First off, put in your motherboard without any attached cables. Then mark areas where large wires/conenctors will come off, such as atx cable, the sata cables, or any other unsightly cables. Then mark a hole large enough fo the connector to pass through either above it or right next to it on the mobo tray. Take everything out of the case and cut the wholes. After cutting, clean the case. Then route the cables behind the motherboard tray through the holes you just cut. Things not long enough to put through the holes, route then under your motherboard. Now, insert the motherboard. And connect your cables, which at this point should all be under the motherboard or behing the motherboard tray. If you have a modular psu, take off all unused cables, and keep the cables to a minimum. Try to use all the molexes on 1 cable rather than a few on a few different cables. If you do not have a modular psu, find a hidden space where you can hide all the extra cables. Tuck them away in that space.

To have really good cable management, unless your case already has holes cut, be prepared to break out that handy dremel. You dont really think sladesurfers amazing rigs are that pwnage without any mods do you? :thumb:

Nice. Things like dremeling the motherboard tray had never really crossed my mind, but it is actually a great idea. I'm building my new rig soon, so may actually do that to keep the cables neat!
