Today I spent a while on closing the gaps between the front panel and the frame. came out really well if you ask me. Those strips will be painted black, to blend in with the rest.

 

BUMP here. sorry for double posting. The grill design that I have posted recently have been scrapped. I am going with the old design. It will also be CNC cut, and bended correctly. You will see.

 

Good looking project dude, cant wait to see how the grills turn out!

Who like that "new" grill design? and who like the old one?

Combination? I took the old design, and added the grilling/bars part, and the text. it will the still be lifted off the surface a bit, but also have that sweet grill design in. I think that will be better. harder to do, but better!

Don't worry, I will be making more progress soon. I was very busy lately.

I'm contacting the best CNC place near me, so I will PROBABLY be getting the grill this week.

AND I'M GETTING A NEW POWER SUPPLY!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I made a power switch today. Now i'm glad I didn't buy one.

How did you create that awesome looking power switch?

 

Would like to see a shot of the other side, looks like a little square of tread plate with some kind of button in the middle, nice unique power switch well done Razer .

 

Thanks! It's a square of thread plate, with the switch on the back, and a screw head thing (big screw stolen from my school) on the tip of the little switch.

Thanks pal! Unfortunately the project will only get attention in 3 weeks time, because of exams. starting next week, so i have to study already

But no worries. when that time comes, there will be a grill CNC'ed, and some nice fans and paint to work with.
