haha hey loose. Progress is on it's way. I told you what I am doing today, and the tomorrow I will hopefully start working. I don't have THAT much to do, but a lot of money to spend (CNC cut, paint, fans). I'm also still waiting for this.

I have made some progress, and will work again tomorrow. I'll probably finish it in the next 2 weeks, so th thread will come alive again.

Well guys, here ya go. I got some work in. Needless to say, my PC is out of CAGE

I Actually like it like that, but it's a bit dangerous I guess.

Now get on with the modding!!

I gotta say that I'm sorry for the bad pics. the light wasn't too good.

I saw that it isn't easy to make a good-looking IO shield panel thing. Much respect to those who make them perfect, without CNC. :respect:

So when I got my Corsair TX850, I needed to make a hole for the fan to get air, and then got a use for my logo!! :unibrow:

The switch I made kind of broke. The cables and the button only broke off. So I made a new one, since it's less PT. It's not done yet. Will only be when I can sand and paint all parts.

And what a worklog without some silly stuff?

This is where the switch will be:

I polished a random stainless steel thing, and got some good results, but polishing aluminium clearly has a trick to it. both were sanded with the same grit paper, and used the same polish.

    STAINLESS STEEL:

    ALUMINIUM: :(

My logo broke :finger: off at one side (superglued) but could easily be fixed:

The light doesn't look nice in the pics. It is a evil blood red actually. Looks pretty cool. :D

That's all folks! next update won't be long from now.

Really nice update bro, that i/o shield needs some better finish or dont use at all it will be easier man! And some thinks meant to be CNC'd or you must have a laser machine skills and patience! Mod on man, aim for the perfection and come out a winner! :)

It's looking great to my eyes razer & if it lines up correct with the motherboard then awesome job :thumb:, I've never tried doing my own IO plate, never really seen the need as all motherboards come with the required one, but if you do go the laser cut route make 100% sure your model is accurate so you don't waste the expense.
Overall it's looking great mate & nice update :dremel::thumb:.

Thanks! but I agree, that I/O shield's finish is terrible. I think it will be better to use my motherboards standard one. :thumb:

yeah if it lines up with the motherboard hrhr.

    Thanks for the comments guys!:read:

This looks really a promising project i like the case logo and the color scheme.
