Not really a fan of COD but split screen sounds cool, I wish more games would do this!

I can't help but think this has become a junk term nowadays.

'Dedicated Servers' could mean anything from playing on Activision owned servers to private servers to Activision having a 'dedicated' PC matchmaking server that decides who gets to be host.

As long as it's not the latter then all will be fairly dandy. The Peer to Peer multiplayer on MW2 was hilariously bad.

I used to think I was the best at Modern Warfare 2. Turns out I just had a faster pc/connection and so was often made the host.

40 kills and 4-5 deaths every game whaaaat.

Turns out it was host advantage.

Uh huh... the same as the other ones where they promised gamers dedicated servers.

Apart from that. It looks ****! Jumping around like a clown from a poor mix of Halo and Crysis, just like AW? No thanks.

I wish they'd actually bring back a good game, like MW1/2/3. I did like the Black Ops 1/2 games too but after that, not so much. Ghosts was probably the last one I half enjoyed. AW sucked.

why is this not a thing in every pc game ? as far as i know no console has ever managed this but pretty much every pc user has a telly they can use and a couple of ps3/x360 controllers or a spare mouse/kb lying around, would make pc clear winner when having friends around.

In fairness, that looks like it's because of the spectator mode that they overlay in the footage. I couldnt' say until more footage surfaces though.

Nope that is from a kill streak, I cannot remember what it was called in Advanced Warfare but it had the same thing in that and you could see people through walls, if they were close enough to you because of the Orange Outline.

Whilst I have pre-ordered this game, I am still not sure about it because although Treyarch have said 100% Ranked Dedicated Servers, they said that about Black Op's 2 and all the other COD developers have said it since even with Ghost's and Advanced Warfare and they are both on a P2P system.

As far as I am concerned if the servers are not rentable, then they are not dedicated servers because it means that I am still not sure where the server is that I am connecting to, I still cannot be 100% sure that I am not connecting to someones computer or hosting the game on my pc and connection.

With Black Op's 2 they said that it would have Dedicated Servers and they would be in the UK, but I never once got a ping of lower than 80ms whilst playing Black Op's 2 but, playing Black Op's 1, Battlefield 3, 4 and many other games I would always have a ping of 20ms and lower.

It does make me laugh though, that they have to state that we will be able to change the FOV or Frame Rate Limit as a slider now instead of being able to use the commands for it, and yes it makes it easier for those who don't know them or how to input them, but it also makes it easier for the devs to hide the fact that it's still using the same engine that the game has had since Call Of Duty 2, but with things added to it to make it look better but made the game feel worse with each version.

Based of what I have seen up to now though, the jumping system actually looks pretty decent compared to Advanced Warfare and whilst they could have gone and used the same jumping system I am glad they didn't.

I will decide on whether I am going to claim a refund for this game not based of the beta but based of the first hour of gameplay once released, to bad Valve are not as good about refunds as EA as otherwise I could have waited a day before claiming one.
