You don't need to burst fire the ACR and its range and damage are exactly the same, so it's slightly better. The TAR's OK, but it's a little bit inaccurate for my tastes. The FAMAS and the M16 are pretty much identical as well, although I prefer the iron sights of the FAMAS. I can't get on with the 3-round burst weapons though, and the FAL sucks balls, which is surprising given how much I liked the G3 in COD4. That said, you can do well with pretty much any of the assault rifles if you know how to handle them, even the F2000.
I've used the FAL a ton (mastery minus 15 bullet penetration kills) and I really got to like it, but it really makes me wish the 360 controller had a better hairpin trigger, you should be able to fire faster with that gun.
The TAR should be the best AR in the game, exactly the same as the SCAR except for a larger mag capacity and a higher fire rate. What lets it down is the sight picture. I enjoy the ACR and the M4 as well but they're a bit too imprecise for my tastes; I prefer getting a 3 or 4 shot kill (I was a heavy AK user in CoD4) which I can't really do with the ACR and the M4 jumps all over the place.
I just got this game to and I don't know what all the guns are. Whats the best gun that fires quickly with little recoil with lots of bullets in a round thats powerful. I know none will have all of these but whats the best compromise between them? My style is kind of a aim and fire till they die.
ACR and scavenge pro and you can just hold the trigger down till you have the kill. Will use half a mag doing so hence scavenge. If you have bling on then have FMJ and a decent sight. A couple of glocks with Akimbo and FMJ can beat pretty much anything close up or even mid distance.
FMJ is a pointless attachment IMO. It only adds damage when shooting through walls, and I tend not to shoot at people I can't see.
FMJ makes the scar-h a two center-of-mass hit kill, personally i love to use it on the m16 - you shoot at someone, they take cover, you proceed to put a bullet in their skull whilst they are behind cover although having an "upgrade" to full metal jacket on a military weapon makes no sense whatsoever, every round fired by a combat assault rifle, rifle, or SMG used in the US military is a full metal jacket round. likewise FMJ on a shotgun makes no sense.... but hey they needed someway to make shotguns ridiculously powerful.
I find FMJ with a silencer works fabulously... Especially on the ACR, where the stock sights are good anyway.. It cancels out the reduction in power/range of the silencer, while allowing you to remain stealthy.
Just got told a cool kinda tip many of you probebly know but the riot shield still protects you when its on your back.
I don't know where you guys are getting the idea that the FMJ attachment adds power to each bullet...it's been proven that it doesn't. All it does is replace the Deep Impact perk from COD4, so it increases the ability for bullets to penetrate walls and the amount of damage they do after passing through a wall.

Three Harriers, a Chopper Gunner and a Nuke to be precise... I sware, whenever I get a gunner, I always get the nuke.. Its the most over powered KS ever.
Pretty much, although I prefer running the AC130 more often as it gets shot down less. And it's way cooler. I've only got one nuke so far, in a FFA game, but that's just because I was bored and wanted to mess around with it. My normal killstreaks are either 5/7/9 or 5/7/11. Unless you're really lucky, the only way to get a nuke is by camping like a bitch, which is why they're pretty much pointless in objective games.
QFT, i use ac130 for that very reason, harrier and nuke for pure e-peen lol Ahh, i misunderstood you lol, out of interest what's your highest ks?Mine is 32(3 kills with nuke before dying along with everyone else).
