Hi all so my OG switch died this week, had it since the 1st year they launched and it ran a little home brew so I could back up my saves without paying Nintendo ect My big question is do I get a switch 2 or just another switch.. I have an Ally and Steam deck. My ally is set up on my TV downstairs as I don't have a smart TV and this is what I use to give me a smart TV., I got this after my deck as I got a few games on my Steam deck that wouldn't run due to anti cheat ect, they might have resolved this now but my deck is essentially a ornament. My Nintendo was my nighttime thing id go to my bed play 1 hour max on something. Knowing I could just close and it pause, then pick it up another day. There are a few games that peaked my interest but they appear to be on switch too but there are also games that are on both but the switch version is apparently the better version. I'm a big RPG gamer the games I planned to get Xenoblade chronicles x I own the other 3 already, but mixed reports on this some say the switch 2 version is worse others say better, Metroid prime 4, not read anything about this but I've loved all the metroid games bar the last one. The unkillable hunter things made my anxiety go high. raidou remastered: the mystery of the soulless army, from what I can see the switch one version might be the better call. It apparently comes with the physical copy where the Switch 2 version is only a download, and there are a few mixed reports. daemon x machina titanic scion enjoyed the 1st and found it for less than £20. Not read any reviews the adventures of elliot the millennium tales. The game looks amazing, although it's out on pc too so I could grab it for my ally the switch 2 I was looking at the one with the Pokémon that's like animal crossing meets dragon builder. Or I could go CEX grab a 2nd hand one and a micro SD 256 card for the same kind of price as the switch plus Pokémon. My OG switch was from CEX and they where good when I got issues but then it's 360 from CEX and 380 for a new one. Without a game. So that's where I wanted some advice. I've also got about 20 OG switch games I can go back to, I know I've lost the saves the thing just is beyond dead I thought it was the charger. Ordered a new one as apparently is bad to use other chargers on it. but nothing. Sooo any fellow switch owners than can give there 10 cents would be appreciated. And if there are any exclusive games you guys can think of also feel free to shout them out.
