My SkullCandy just broke Need some replacements, the standard iPhone earphones are absolute gash.. Anyone recently bought new ones and been impressed by them?
These earphones came with my XFi Style when I bought it, they're fantastic! They actually provide rumbling bass, and are on offer at £15 at the moment. A lot better than your Skullcandys. http://uk.store.creative.com/headphones-headsets/ep-630/437-11397.aspx
Anything by Sound Magic will fit the bill. sound magic pl30's can be found for around £15 and are better than many earphones costing £50. Go look up some reviews.
how did they break ? normally when my headphones break, its the wires next to the jack that break, and 9/10 they can be re-soldered really cheaply thats how i normally fix mine
Wire completly snapped :/ Snagged on my belt buckle when I was pulling out them out from under my jacket. I dunno how it snapped so easily, but it'll be alright. They wern't the best earphones i've owned
I got a set of Creative EP630's a few years ago - they're very cheap and I think they sound great. The only concern people had a few years ago when I got them was that they broke easily. Well, mine have been going for almost 4 years now without any problems at all.
I have these and I am very happy. Admittedly I got them in a sale for £18 notes. They were £40 usually back then..so even at 34 they are a snip. http://www.play.com/Electronics/Ele....html?_$ja=tsid:11518|cat:9783674|prd:9783674
If I was replacing mine again, I'd go for another set of CX200s over the CX300IIs I now have - they're more unruly (read: springier) and the jack 'neck' is larger than it needs to be.
These are my personal cheapo in ear picks. I have ~3 pairs back when they had a 1/2 price sale. Great for the gym.
I got some sennheisers on a newegg deal about a month ago. It might have been cx2oo. Not sure but you can't go wrong with SH
