Winter depression is setting in and i can think of nothing better than a mod project to warm my cockles. Ive decided to make a SFF/HTPC/Gaming/Music Production Rig to sit under my tv. The SFF case is going to be completely hand made using a wooden base and support rods covered in an AC Ryan Mesh Panel. Its going to be a bit like a Faraday Cage...but a pc. But the big problem is actually finding the mesh panels to do the mod. They make up the entire case pretty much. Anything visable anyway. My usual mod shop kustoms pcs cant seem to lay its hands on any for me. http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_1345.html Was hoping someone on here would know where to get some. Im aware BnQ do some bits and pieces like it. But the finish on the ac ryan stuff is great and its just the right width to make the case rigid but still workable. Would love to get started on it, but im falling at the first hurdle. Any suggestions would be brilliant.
thats pretty close to it. The ac ryan finish looks better though. It has a nice matt look to it. Its hard to tell without seeing the panel what its like. looks a bit shiney but its one to consider if i cant find the panels themselves or anything exactly the same. AC ryan stuff seems to be pretty difficult to get hold of. Sent them a strongly worded email summing up my anger at not having the products i wanted for modding.
Sorry, just looked at the two which Google product search returned and decided in my mind it was a mesh panel.
If you have a word with Graeme at Kustom they'll order it in for you 90% of the time Alternatively Bill will get some to you
