online games, he keeps robbing all the speed so all my games lag way to much. Is there a program that lets me control his d/u speeds so i can have some of my speed back?

Heres a little program called net limiter. You can control each programs bandwidth with it :thumb:

Cool.. I been looking for something JUST like that for a while now.. but do you know of a linux version of that.. only works in windows that one... I was thinking of having a dedicated p133 with three nics in it.. one for the inet on for webserver and stuff and one for windows pcs behind a nat firewall... Just simply limit the u/d of the webserver subnet.

Does anyone know of any other programs or ways to do this? I tried Netlimiter but for some reason it doesnt recognise the ICS bandwidth, which seems to be transparent to it for some reason, and there is no way of telling it what to look for...

I've been looking for a windows based solution that only needs to be installed on the server for ages without success... I tried Bandwidth Controller but I found it to be unstable and caused the server to crash every few hours :grr: Sygate Office Network offers limited bandwidth management, but I found this to be unreliable as well - the service just stops for no reason :grr:

If you were running some distro of linux I understand that iptables (?) can be used to manage bandwidth.
