The maximum number of screens one nVidia GPU can support is two. If you want three screens, you need to get a second GPU.
Thank you guys. Seems like ATI cards got more features and perhaps performance as well? Do you all think that ATI cards are better in bluray performance & picture display/movie playback than nvidia cards?
ATI-Free video converter, supposed better video playback via avivo, eyefinity Nvidia-PhysX, 3Dvision, CUDA apps
I should point out that if you require 3 monitors for extra desktop space and not for gaming on, then any 2nd gpu would work to provide you with an addiontal monitor. If however you wish to game using 3 monitors, then you would require not only a 2nd GPU but to run them in SLI, meaning you will require an SLI compatible motherboard. Alternatively there are the other following solutions.. ATI/AMD Eyefinity. Matrox TripleHead2Go. Mviewtech's version of the TripleHead2Go. SoftTH This is a software hack, freeware, and is much more flexable than most of the hardware solutions, however it does require that your single gfx card is powerfull enough to drive the screens you wish to, it can also be a bit of a pain to setup/get configured with some games, however the latest version of softth is a bit easyer to use.
