I have the requirement for 2 pcb's, each will be hold a connector ( 27.5mm by 2.9mm) and 41 wires ( problem from a ribbon cable) so about 3.5cm by 3.5cm for each board.
The cable is for a 12” LCD mod to go into my new case build.

As I only require two small boards, I don’t want to have to buy all the gear to make it up myself, and standard stripe board’s wont work as the connectors will be in the stupidly small size category... (The connector I want on the board is this one (NOTE this is not the exact size I need, it is the 41 pin connectors found on the spec sheet):

With the spec info available here

I don’t have a circuit diagram as I don’t have access to any proper circuit drawing software and drawing in paint or similar will mean the sizes will be out so will need to be redrawn anyway!

If you could also solder the connectors and ribbon cable on to the boards i will provide the connectors and ribbon cable (will be two pieces - one of 21 cores and 1 of 20) as I don’t have access to a point solder tip!

Cost for materials, posting and your time will be given!

Im based in NW London so ideally someone from that area, but anyone in the UK will do!

    Cheers

Some of the Electronics magazines might have adds for this sort of small scale service, check out the adds in them at your local book store.

"All the equipment" for single sided boards is a container, $5.00 worth of ferric chloride, and access to a laser printer.

    Really, it's not that involved.

thanks for the info- given up on making the pcb and getting the connectors- the connectors themselves were costing £25 + delivery, and its looking more costly so I gave up on the idea and just cut the wires :D Gonna pick up some heatshrink tomorrow and solder the wires over the weekend.
