ive found both papst and panaflo fans to be better than the silenx ones (despite what the specifications say)

i think silenx has their own speshwul way of measuring the noise level and/or airflow :eyebrow:

Another panaflo vote here tbh :D
Have a case full of SilenX's, they push good amounts of air whislt remaining quiet, but arent worth the extra over other fans.

Interesting I haven't had any noise problems what so ever with my Vantec stealths, but my larger fans 92/120 are Zalman's, and Panaflo's.

Another vote for panaflo. Got a Panaflo "12L" (120mm, 1700rpm, 68cfm) and its great. Its not 100% silent (well you'd figure since it is rated at 30dba), but the sound is smooth and non-irritating :).

Silenx really aren't worth the money IMO. Another vote for Panaflo/Papst.
