CPU Can we expect to see ARM MoBo's soon?

    I would agree that it needs support from major manufacturers but I don't think it needs support from them all... maybe just the ones that lead the way in technical innovations.


    Oh PS:
    Maybe a little off topic, but for those of us interested in ARM OS' I'd suggest this recent video of Mark Shuttleworth from Canonical discussing Ubuntu & its future.

    It may also be worth mentioning that with all of the news since this thread was last active, it looks all the more likely that ARM will gradually replace x86, and with solutions like this from AMD allowing us to switch between an ARM & x86 chip on the fly, that will make it much easier to migrate over to ARM based solutions.

    Also I thought I should mention that a previous comment suggested that the software isn't there yet... well do remember that the developers need the HW before they can start developing SW for it... so with something like this which AMD will be bringing to market, it will allow the developers to support the ARM platform much easier and with the ability to switch between ARM & x86 on one board, that could simplify cross platform software development.
