yes mate, you can get one of those. theres a few actually. i know that overclockers.co.uk have got them in stock too
i dont understand tho because the ones on overclockers say 4x and i thought you needed 16x for gfx cards?? can someone help me out and pick the best on that site pritty please
if youre going by the chipset model number, the nf-x4 or whatever it is, doesnt mean it will run at x4 it will run at pcie speeds no problem, its just a moddified nforce4 chipset.
oh so therefore i could buy any pci one on overclockers and it will work then? god why do they make this so bloody confusing! is the Abit NV8 nForce4 4X (Socket 754) PCI-Express Motherboard any good??
the problem with these boards is that there arent many reviews out there as its not really at the cutting edge of things so its a little left behind. i think the general concensus is that all of them are pretty good but none of them appear to be very good overclockers so if thats a major factor for you then a little investigation/waiting may be needed. but if its just stock and stable youre after then i would imagine all of them are pretty similar.
thanks chemo, i wont be overclocking i can only just manage to plug things in properly anyhoo thanks to everyone for the quick replys, ive orderd the abit, just hope its ok
