I've got a steelseries mousemat, an extra large one. It's got a non slip back, a foam body and a cloth face. It's pretty filthy because I'm not the cleanest person; can I wash it?

I've got a big overclockers XXXL desk sized mousemat. I just lay it in the bath, squeeze a little bit of shower gel on it and give it a gentle rub down then shower it off before hanging it up in the shower cubicle to drip dry.

Shower gel? Interesting cleaning regime. Damn your desk must smell nice.

Don't get it too warm as the glue will melt between the cloth stuff and the backing. I use speed mats which I can just wipe over with Windolene.

Works for mine, but mine's a plastic fronted one... should work on the fabric covered ones too...

Being a fabric covered one it should survive a trip through a washing machine provided it's not on too hot...
