    Dear all ,
I connected my win2000 to an Xp .
I can ping in both direction
On the XP i can see and open all share files on the win2000 and Xp.
But on the WIN2000 i can see the workgroup and the machine but i can not access them ..error : cannot access this computer from this station

I'm in the same subnet , my workgroup has the same name and my files are share to everybody.

On the WIN2000 i'm logged on as Administrator and on the XP as another user.

My firewall has been disabled .

Maybe there is something wrong withmy Security or services setting on the WIN200 machine.
    Please help ? ?

Synchronize the administrator accounts/passwords. Or create a user with admin privileges on BOTH PC's.
    /ooh sweet Aruba, kontabai swa!

Also be very sure you really turn off any software firewalls, i have Blackice running on my notebook, even if i turn it off i still can't access certain file-servers. Pisses me off as i have to be on different customers LAN's often :miffed:.
Nope, originally from Surinam, you know that one eh... :hip:. But i've been to Aruba, i liked that little island a lot :thumb: .
