That picture is enticing enough to make me consider buying a Canon

You didn't make any mention of the very noticeable barrel distortion that the camera exhibits (many small digital camera lenses do). This is visible in the shot of the door with the no parking sign on it, where the door frame is distinctly curved.

Digital zoom is pretty useless if you go outside of the bounds of the sensor (ie if you use it at all in 1600x1200 mode, go beyond 1.5X digital zoom in 1024x768, or go beyond 2.5X digital zoom in 640x480). Beyond those limits, the camera interpolates, which can be far better achieved with photoshop, since you have rather more processing power on hand to make a better job of it.

The review is rather more from a computing viewpoint than a photographic one...you made no mention of the shutter speed and aperture ranges the camera offers in manual mode, for example.

Nice review, and looks like a pretty nice little cam.

I really havent been much of a camera guru, so i didnt really notice that the barrel distortion... but now i do, thanks for pointing that out... its not too much of a distortion though, so im not gonna worry about that.
I think i'll go through and add that tonight... its not that i was totaly stupid and didnt know this stuff, just that i forgot.... its a long review, and some stuff just slips my mind from time to time.... thanks for the pointers!

Sure. Like I said, it was a pretty good review, as long as it was accepted that it was from a computer/tech viewpoint, not a photographic one. It's great that you've put the time and effort in to do it.
