Hey i keep getting the error below when trying to access two different samba shares under different user names (Im sharing the home directories).

My samba setup is like such
    HOMESERVER\(share)
(share) = user name, I have three, jake, mom, and homeserver.
They way its setup, it would allow me to use my part for my docs, mom for hers, then homeserver for movies, pictures, etc. universal files. I can access homeserver from \\HOMESERVER\homeserver, but not thru the Network window in Vista. I can however access it once I have manually entered the address, and it shows under homeserver. The other two shares, which are password protected, will not let me access them. I enter the password and user name correctly, my share tells me its wrong, and mom's starts to load then gives the error above... I need to get this server up and going, and I would like some know how to do it. My smb.conf is pretty much the default conf with a few things uncommented and fixed... ill post if needed... Thanks much

I get this message on Win7 occasionally - To fix it all I need to do us un-map and remap the drive.

It's probably not the same cause, but it's worth a go, right?

Yep, Windows has the habit of caching the credentials... Nothing else to do (then to unmap) except reboot the Windows station...
