I have recently purchased a XFX 275 and I am running Win 7 on my newly build machine.

When I installed riva tuner it said something about my graphics card driver not being supported or similar so when I run riva tuner, I am missing the options and etails in the driver section at the bottom where you can go in and change your clocks, fan speeds etc.

I can change the fan speeds using the menu in the upper section but not the clocks.

I'm partial to bit of gpu overclocking and benchmarking but I can't do anything about the gpu overclocking.

Anyone got any ideas or work arounds

    Cheers

    nTune?

NiBiTor + nvFlash is what I use.

Thanks for that, seems like Ntune wont let me clock the shaders and I really don't wanna mess with the cards bios.

nTunes doesn't support Win7 drivers. That is what I noticed on my laptop, as I overclock this GPU to high level. As the drivers are still in beta, it doesn't surprise me. Just wait until they get official, or the next version of the official release.

I have download Nvidia system tools and I can adjust the clocks fine now. The last Ntunes I could find on Nvidias website was released back in 07 and didn't allow me to adjust the stream processors only the core and memory.

nTune works OK on Vista, so I assumed it would work under 7 (it's the same driver model, as I understand). The shaders are overclocked, but they're on a ratio with the core, so no individual control I'm afraid but they are getting raised still.

And wow, you're right it hasn't been updated in 2 years! Oh man, my graphics card must be old... (as I say though, I just find the sweet spot with nTune, then flash the BIOS)

When I tried nTune (well wtv the new name is), under Win7, I can overclock, but in game and WEI shows no FPS increase. Not even under a benchmark tool, my score is the same, Also using Everest, you see that the actually speed of the GPU memory, shader, core doesn't change. However in Vista 64-bit it works. It might be just my GPU that is not yet supported, however.

Glad you mentioned that goodbytes because when I overclocked my 8800GT's in SLI i got about a 1500 point increase in 3d mark 06. Overclocking my 275 with a larger increase than I used on my 8800's I got barely 2-300 point increase which I found most odd.

Maybe it's not working properly in win7, GPU-Z showed the increased clocks though, I shall see what everest shows on my system.

Come on riva tuner, pull your finger out and get it working, I love riva tuner. :)
