Windows Can't browse local web site using URL or external IP

I have a locally hosted web site that is running on IIS 5.x. The server is set to internal address 192.168.1.x. the other machines on the lan are DCHP given by the firewall. The problem is that the local (within the lan) machines cannot browse the localy hosted web sites by URL or external IP. Meanng if I browse by the internal IP address, I have no problems, but if I try the external address or URL, no dice.

Background:
I can ping the URL and resolve the external IP
External computers can browse without any problems
Firewall is set to one-to-one NAT

HELP Driving me nuts. This should not be this hard.
