    Hi
I've installed a xonar dx. with the in-pack driver (.1730). I didn't get any sound in battlefield 3 so installed the latest driver (.1794). Now i don't get any sound at all, even in windows. i rolled back the driver to .1730 and it works fine in windows (but still a problem in battlfield 3).
    can anyone help?
also, bf3 is freeze/crashing after about 1min of play time. sorry this is wrong thread but if anyone can help with this too it would be appreciated :naughty:

Which port do you have your speakers/headphones plugged into?

In your control panel > sound and audio devices do you have the Xonar set as the play back device? It may be set to your previous (on board?) audio device.

In BF3 make sure your sound settings match the settings in the DX control panel. i.e. Make sure its not set to headphones in one and speakers in the other.
