Okay, so I've been playing an obscene amout of Project Gotham 3 on my 360, and the cars are pretty rad looking with an insane amount of detailing etc and lush interiors. However a few things have been bugging me, based on bits of the cars I don't understand the function of. Anyone able to help with:

    - The back of the Lambo Murc' R-GT has these mental looking trianglular struts poking out from under the rear of the car. Like black blades, about six of em I think. It's almost like some sort of backwards battering ram. Any idea what it's for? The Ford Gt has a much smaller more subtle version.

    - Inside the McClaren F1. The dashboard has the steering wheel bang in the middle, but either side are a pair of large rectangular yellow lights. Now they don't seem to function all the time, but occasionally they're both continuously on and I can't see an reason why. Any clues?

    - Some of the real supercars have this weird 'glitch'. If you pull away from a standing start, they go through the gears no probs. Same in an ordinary race when slowing down and speeding up. Hit something, or slam the e-brake on and it can take an age to get the speed up again to change out of 1st. Is that realistic? It doesn't seem to affect all cars.

Any answers would be mad useful to my collection of useless knowledge.

the standard mclaren f1 did not have two large rectangular lights either side of the steering wheel.
is it a gt or lm or something?

and yes the seat is central as this is the best place to be when racing ;)

shift lights? F1/DTM/WTC/etc have lights on the wheel that tell the driver how far off the engine redline he is, so he can change gears without distracting him from the road.. they could be those lights.

Every car has it's real life interior. Some are more interesting than others, with cool touches like the gradual illumination of the red rev counter (i assume) lights across the top of the Enzo steering wheel.
