I have an enforced change of vehicle and need to shop for insurance for Thursday. Any advice? My wife usually trawls Confused.com and Compare the market. Just in case I'm missing anything useful... 50 yrs old, no points, but 2 accidents in last 4 years. I was with a specialist broker, as I had an import, and was lazy. Got hammered last year as I shopped round and forgot to jump, and lost out on saving £200. Sold my last car after 12 months in disgust (never had a car that short a time ever), cost me a fortune in repairs and lost more on selling it Never been caught before, always a first time. No more diesel, no more DPF grief. /rant
Sorted without anxiety, Confused.com already had my deets from doing other family cars, so straight in. Downside? Was logged on to my wife's account, so she wasn't impressed with the barrage of email quotes! All done and paid at less than half of last year's premium. Result!
