    :hehe:
You gotta be smoking something. Rallying with a lowered car is idiotic. He would get stuck so fast it would resamble a brick.

Judjing from the phone shot his car bumper is about 3-4inches off the ground.

Then if you like it stiff you should remove the springs and put the car on solid alu blocks. Im shure I can hear your spine crunch from acros the pond.

coilovers, ... i said above, coilovers are different to lowering springs.. alot.. coilovers allows you to adjust the ride height/damping and much more.

Still much nicer then driving a standard 'jelly suspension' setup like you would find on most standard cars.

Better phone up the local council and even all the roads in the area. That is some serious lowering!

Better start getting used to it, a friend lowered his car a few weeks back and forgot about the ramps up the road, guess what happened...

They can't adjust on the fly, for that you'd need hydrolic or air suspension. Coilovers allow you to adjust the ride height and damper strength with a few basic tools. Different coilovers will allow you to adjust other features of the suspension (stroke, camber, caster, toe etc) too I think.

Yeh you have to take the wheel off (normaly) and use C-Spanners to adust the ride hight.
You can also adust the damping rate with most coilover units (athough 'coil overs' just refers to the ride hight adustmet side of it relly, you can get adustible dampers that dont use coilover springs and arnt height adustible) Adusting the damping rate is normaly just done by turning a knob under the wheel arch or under the bonnet. Some expencive setups (indended for racing) will let you adust the bump/rebound rate of your dampers seperatly which is useful.

You can get special top mounts for your coilovers that will let you adust castor and camber to some extent but not toe (all cars have adustible toe on the front as standard).
