I have some of those LED windscreen washers that I have never bothered fitting to my car.
I was wondering could I use them in my PC fairly easily ?
As a car uses 12V and my PC uses 12V can I just hook them up to a molex ?

any idea of the power consumption?, if they suddenly draw a lot of current it will not do the system good.

    They should work fine.

AFAIK it's the same as LEDs with resistors that we hook up everyday to our PCs.

Well I know that you can get cathodes for cars, and just rewire those, so I don't really think that it would be too much of a problem. And I doubt that it could really pull that much power, but I could be very well wrong...good luck though.

PS, its really awsome that cars and computers have the same voltages, makes it a lot easier for us computer geeks to put compute stuff in there, and vise versa with car stuff in computers... :D  :thumb:

Hooking the wiper motor up so that the wiper arm washes your window would really be something, but that motor might draw too many amps.
