The glue is dry. So time to file.

This dust is so bad for your health.

It was a big job but this part is ready.

Continue whit the rad grill. Take off the folie.

Just to see of it’s fit.

There is some detail work to do but I think when this part is ready with some mesch under it. It’s standing right on the white.

    See you soon.

With that grill, I reckon it'd look better with rounded corners, or at least 45deg corners.

This evening. It was an evening. Full of dust. Because it was files and barns. (If I using the right words)

So as a said file and file.

Than further with the sanding paper.

After more than 2 hours work. But I must say carbon works a lot better than plexi.

I font some mesh. It’s just for the idea.

    See you soon.

That tracery/grid (mesh?) would look alot better when painted in white. At the moment as much as I can see from the blurry picture "Carbon Li" doesn't stand out that good.

carbon dust, as well as fiberglass dust and bondo dust, is a carcinogen, as in it causes cancer. dremel disks put so little dust out comparitively, i wouldnt worry about it. you might want to err on the safe side and wear a mask when using one though

The mesh is a good idea, but I reckon the diameter of the holes is too small; it makes "CARBON LI" barely readable.

I'm glad you rounded those corners, as well. :D

I think the look could be improved by spraying the mesh white. This would make that great looking grill 'pop' a bit more.

Yeah, that would work. :D It's better than my idea, because it's save him having to buy new mesh, lol. :D

    Not really an exiting update.
Today I start with the coverplate that come in place for the bezels behind the door.

    I use this saw again.

This time I file it on this way. For me this is the way to keep it straight.

    It fits almost.

    So more to file.

But after a couple hours files it fit seamless.

    See you soon.

And go on with the front. Drill some holes.

    And than sawing.

    This part is done.

Let start with the file job.

For the last peace I use the cover plate to get it exactly fit...

    From this side it’s fit.

And also from the other side.

The alu on the lower part from the cover plate is for protection. If I must work on that part for the DVD-ROM

    The case so far.

And what must go out of the case? The blue cover plate on the coolers from the memory. That must change to Carbon.

    And sawing this part, quick

    And drill some holes again.

    Tan also something to saw.

The file job is for tomorrow.

    See you soon.
