hello, thanks for the replys, and when you anodise something it comes out as a verry dry product (verry good cleaned/ no grease or something on it) so it looks satin but if you just rub some oil on it, it gets a little bit more gloss. I ame going to rub some oil on it because I think I like it better when it is a little bit gloss, update of that soon.

Well Burnout, no need to be snappy.
I was just suggesting, I think gloss would go better with the plexi rather than satin. Satin would also look good, as Burnout so forcefully suggested.

hey it is still satin and stays that way :thumb:. Today I picked up an old motherboard to place the mounting holes in the case and made some bushes from perspex to hold the board in the right place I did it with an old card placed in the old motherboard so that it has the right hight, I gluwed the bushesd to the perspex plate with a perspex gluw. I mounted the case togheter with the perspex plates this time I couldend wait any longer :naughty: see picture every thing fits just perfect.

the case form a 3D view with a dvd player:

If you go about the wiring the same way you have with the rest of the case to this point, I'm not worried about it being sloppy in the least. :thumb:

hey again, I can't do moost of the things because I ame still waiting for some new things that I am going to use in this built like new watercooling stuf.
What I did for this time is made some new case feet for the case, I used black delrin it is a very nice nonferro material. They are 40mm in diamater and 15mm high with a 4mm radius on the bottom (see picture). I am using a M5 countersunk sockethead screw to mount it to the case.

here you can see the result:
just the feet you can see the radius that I described:

    with the screws in it:

    al mounted under the case:

    under side:

hopefully there is more finished with the next update like: dvd player things, watercooling.

    se ya next time, julian

Hey there, I am making my own reservoir for my water cooling system it is 100mm round on the outside and 63mm high. The topcap is glued in the reservoir. The res is going to be placed on the middle plate of my case, see picture. I am going to make a round grove for the reservoir so it can be placed and glued on a certain position. Also I am going to make the tube connection holes on the bottom of the plate so that my tubes are going down. The little barb on the top of the cap is for the filport that I am going to mount to the top of the case.

A quick sketch of the reservoir parts:
The raw material: 1 peace of 100mm pipe 65mm long and 1 6mm plate 100x100mm(going to be 95 round)
Here you can see the plate spinning around and I am making it round:
the plate is forced between the spindle and the drill holder with a turning centre in it.
Yeh the plate is now round 95mm:
Making the cylinder on the correct length and stuff:
This is the reservoir not mounted just turned:
    It fits just perfect:
Tapping the 1/4" hole for the barb that is going to be on the top:
This is the reservoir in total, only not yet mounted to the plate were it is going to be glued:
And there is it going to be standing: (this is a older foto without the barb on the top)

These were al the things I did to the reservoir, waiting for some parts to come in so that I can make the finale position etc.

see ya next time, Julian
