Can anyone help me with a UK source for the Enermax CS-56881LBFS-OY? I can't seem to find it anywhere and am starting to get fed up. Any help greatly appreciated Moved to Hardware
Its a JNC (or Jeantech [sp?]) painted yellow. Ebuyer sell them. I bought one last year for about £45 ish inc 350W psu. Build quality is perhaps a tad better than I expected for that price point... though expectations were at rock bottom, so could really only go up. They even included a stobe light not mentioned in the spec... which was naff, but doesnt need to be on. Still have an old piccie here. Case now sold. Not too bad for the price tbh - but still an el cheapo pre-mod case at the end of the day.
Ya, a quick look on ebuyer with a search for JNC throws up a few look alikes. This is pretty close. You can paint it yellow later http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=42939 The only difference I can see is a slightly different window side pattern/shape.
tbh, it looks like all the other premods that you get in pc world/maplin. pick one up from there and spray it to you colour of preference. edit: it is the same chasis as nearly all the premods i've seen, its just the front panel thats different.
It was actually the sliding blanks at the front i liked it for... plus the colour, but spraying it myself seems slightly daunting. Ah well, double-windowed Icute at maplins for £40, can't be too bad
I have that case on ebuyer except the front is slightly different. I wouldnt recommend this case as there is space for only one 80mm exhaust and it gets a bit messy inside.
sprayings no problem if you take your time, use a plastic primer, do thin coats, sanding any imperfections with wet-and-dry as you go. leave the case overnight after each coat before the next one/sanding. about 3 coats of primer, 3-4 of paint and 1-2 of laquer
Bit of a bugger when theres tinted acrylic on the front of the case and two windows, though. Maybe I could remove it... or just mask it with tape
w00t Now i need to find a cheap mobo, psu and all the other parts to shove into my old case and start a computer farm
