Once again having nothing to do, i decided to give a little face lift to one of my old 450 Mhz PC case that i use for data storage.
It all started with a coat of silver as primer then a couple of flat black for the body.
The front is adhesive brushed S/S look alike and some old bits and pieces of electronics and motherboard i had lying around
The hole in the back is a new ATX 350W psu for a bit more oomph than the old AT that was there.
Then i attacked the old yellow monitor loll :D
So in short, it didn't cost me much, a can of silver paint one of flat black and a roll of that mac-tac stuff and time (that i have a ton of) :hehe:

Guess i'm gonna have to do the other now

:) Paint,it's just paint and a couple of pieces of mobo and of course the brushed S/S look alike mac-tac paper that i've found at wall-mart loll

All i did was cut up a piece of an old motherboard the size of the front plate under the CD drive with a dremel and i stuck a couple more electronic pieces on there, cut up the badge spot and did the same except this one was glued from the inside to give some depth.
I guess i just had a great idea that day :hehe: it looks even better here than the pic, the pic looks greyish here it really looks like close shaved black velvet and the chrome really goes well with it.

Here's a shot with the old DELL monitor when it was original color
