nice work with the HDD cage!
i like your water tank!
keep up the good work!
Needs more hard drives.
Top stuff duder
WHY!! WHY!! 22TB of space?
Case still looks good though.
Very nice work! I can remember my first computer with 64K of RAM and a 5.25 in floppy with 720K...
22tb! I'm just hitting 1tb for the first time and i think thats alot
I know this build is a bit OTT but why do you need 2x500gb on the mini itx when you have another 21tb at your disposal?
This is looking huge, love the look of it. Great idea for the hd's but why so much storage for a gaming rig. I might use the cage idea for my next mod.
keep up the good work
love the colours.
22tb is a heck of a lot of space man
Thanks for the touchscreen model grevaeg. This is even more OTT that I thought it would be when I first saw the thread
Its only 5000 DVD's
As a harddrive freak myself, this is the coolest mod ever I 'only' have 7TB (about 10 disk) so I have a long way to reach you But so far its enought, but not for long
How tall is it btw?
Dude, i tought 4TB in Raid5 is a lot of storage. This is just insanity.
lol looking awesome as ever
Dood that is EPIC!! It's Brilliant and Totally sweet....just awesome.
Small update guys,
Just received my second P5Q premium mobo, GFX blocks from EK. and 6 meter of hosing, should be able to mount it all within this week some place! ^^ Pics coming soon
Guess the waterloop will be something like this :
water ress --> pump--> radiator 1--> gfx 1--> CPU 1--> radiator 2--> gfx 2--> CPU 2--> radiator 3 --> ress again
The ress should work as a decent radiator (4) too, considering the large surface with a decent airflow around it
this is freaking sick man. You sir have WAAAAY to much money
I have 4 also and haven't found enough recipes and family pictures to fill a tiny bit of them.
This should hold every Netflix DVD for the next 5 years. Did I say that?
*has lots of recipes and family pictures* mostly filled up with it ^^.
Probably to store music, that way it doesn't interfere with the main rigs.
I have 1 250 Gb on the H2O-C7 mini-ITX that is partitioned for small Linux OS and a large partition for music. It is intended for my alarm clock. wake to music. All else is on external NAS raids. I can't see the need for 2 drives either. Except "Because I can". That's valid.
well, its quite simple guys...
Having the main rigs powered on will easily draw out 1400watts idle... while only having the miniITX on, it will draw about 80watts...
So... for a 24/7 upload/download, its preferable to just keep the low wattage comp going , while having the others off, and yea, 1tb aint rly that much on a 50/50 fibre connection, it get filled up quite fast 0.o
Can then just move the files to the main comps when their on
