Alright, I am at a very large delima here, I cannot choose what case I want next. I am still deciding between either one lan case, small like lianli pc50, or big, like the pc70. Big delima as you can tell, if anyone has anything to add that would ease this headache, even a new brand of PC to look at, like the Chieftec which I ruled out because of plastic

the pc70 is HUGE! not only tall but deep too. its a ******* to carry to lan partys without handles.. (which reminds me...) if you dont plan on doing any mods to your case, get something a little smaller (pc60, around there) but if you do, its a great case for modding (well any case is if you have the touch). get what you think you would like more. pc70 has lots of room for stuff, pc60 is small. they both have the goods and the bads about them..

Oh, I planned on any case I buy to put handles, everything needs a good handle or two. That was one of my primary concerns, going to lan with that massive god would be a bit harder then something like the PC50. I am still looking at the Coolermaster aluminum, and others. Anyone else have any feedback that would help this decision?

I am really looking at the CoolerMaster ATC 101, but is it really worth the cash for it? I mean, with one less drive bay a lianli is much cheaper

i would say go for a midi case like the lian li pc 60 or pc 7
they r very light therefore it should be easy to carry them to lan parties.

I am assuming you have enough money for either, but the PC70 is quite a bit more expensive than the other models.

If its a dedicated lan box get an ickle one like hat PC 7 they do. If its for home and lan get a PC 60 as its a bigger size to mod but easy enuff to carry. If its just a home box then get a PC 70 as your rarely going to have to lug it anyway and it has faaaaar more room for moddage.

    Ug :D

im the extremely proud owner of a pc 71 ... i swear this monster huge tower weighs less full than my little mid tower steel/plastic gateway case does empty. plus, the gi-normous plethora of free space rules. cable management is not a problem here.

I noticed they were a lot lighter, but I think I have fallen in love with the ATC 101

Alright, I am down to either the PC60USB or the ATC101, while I love the atc101, it is way to expensive so....

The PC 60 USB would be much cheaper, but why not for a few quid more get the PC 65 which can be found here:

    http://www.overclock.co.uk/moreinfo.php?id=395

It comes with a nice factory fitted window to it, so all you need to do is add a few cathodes and other stuff. It saves u the pain of cutting a window if you unskilled with the alu and looks great too!

Btw the ATC 101 is nice but the PC 65 is also USB and is much cheaper with a window too :D

    Ug :)

I am actually about to make the alu purchase myself. All because of an Enermax PSU. How long can cables be??? With them bunched/tied up, I have no air flow in my already-cramped case.

So...time to drop the cash and move on. I'm going for the PC-60USB. I have always loved the clean look of this case. Apparently, there is a new version of it, which is cheaper. But I want the older version.

    Diffs:
New has no slideout MOBO tray and only has 2 front USB 2.0 ports. While I like the USB 2.0, that is not enuff to make me buy this case.

Older one is a little more expensive. Has slideout MOBO tray and 4 front USB.

I was looking into the PC-65...but then I have a hoooge prefab window. BAH! I want to cut and create...that's why I began modding to start with. :D

Well the deed is done. The PC-60 is ordered and will be shipped shortly. Shame it's coming UPS. Oh well. Got a purty good deal on it I reckon, so I won't complain. :dude:
