Modding Cathode placing

    This is the computer I am restoring at the moment. I am going to place one or two cathodes in it. Do you see the blue line on the picture? Will the entire case be lit up if I place a single sunbeam blue 30cm CCFL there? It's not where people usually place their CCFLs in a case.

    not much will light since the hdd and drives will block it.

    the best place I've found are the bottom on the panel side and the back.

    if you don't put a full window, you could try to fix a ccfl on the panel

    check where I've put my uv ccfls

    but the best way to light a case is definitly place your ccfls on the left side of the case.

    Thanks. Will it matter much if I order a 20cm cathode instead of a 30cm? I have now found the perfect spot for a 20cm, you see... Will the light be much dimmer?
