Modding Cathodes at Mappers

    As many of you will probably know the cathodes at Maplins have been discontinued or at the website at least.

    Well I gave the main office a ring today to find if they had any blue cathodes, they did. I asked have they been discontinued and the guy kindly told me that they have only been discontinued till the company they order them from can sort out how they package them, as you all know they brake very easily. So they have not gone forever just till the company can find a way to package them:D, as they guy said that about half the ones they get are broken, and there are still cathodes all over the country, you just can't get them posted to you at the moment.
    So if you want one give your local mappers a ring and see if they have any.

    CC are always readily availible in the stores, i NEVER had a problem getting them, and still dont

    the maplin codes are...

    RP33 Blue
    RP34 Black
    RP35 Green
    RP36 Pink
    RP37 White
    RP38 Yellow

    RP39 CC Psu

    Some reason not in the catalogue either?

    nice one biggie.

    A maplin code sticky comes to mind. With the stuff ppl asking for regularly e.g. Molex male JW64, etc.
