    Religion and science are complementary. Without science, religion risks going all Dark Ages on our ass: treating diseases as God's curse (or just refusing sound medical treatment) and burning heretics at the stake. Without religion, science risks going all Brave New World: eugenics and ****ing blithely with what even God would leave well alone.
