I need to do the 1440p test again and see what I get then.

Not much more to give I don't think. I can push the CPU a little more, but the cards are pretty much maxed. Still... my little 670s are giving those 7970s a damned good run for their money :)

I have to say Pookeyhead, Your extra CPU cores are helping. Try running it with 4 cores and 4 threads @ Stu's 4.4GHz. :D

    Good work Dave... impressed. :)
I have to go an watch a film with SWMBO... however, once she is asleep I am going to ram 1.3v in the cores and 1.7v in the ram and see if she has any more to give... that was my old 3DM11 benching settings for 1275/1800 but they were precarious at best. LOL

    As an aside:
My results have all disapeared off their boards... including the 18364 in your last pic... ;)

    RAH!

I'll give that a go when I get the chance. Not tonight.. getting late... but I'll run 4 cores and 4.6 like Stu and see what's what.

    [edit]

Can't seem to stop it using all 12 threads, despite setting affinity in the process/task manager. Any ideas?

Disable the extra cores/threads inside of Bios? It's probable that the application is written to stop such actions within Task Manager, to prevent people forcing it to cores only and getting better scores.

As for the comments about Bias: It's pretty obvious. Licensed Nvidia PhysX, so those of us without Nvidia GPUs (Or with Nvidia cards that aren't quite the fastest of the bunch), get shafted.

If only they'd optimize it for CPU properly, it'd see a good jump in performance if rumour is true.

That's some good going there guys. Scores on the doors have been updated.

Stu why not see if you can beat Pookeyhead's Catzilla score? The extra beef of your tri-fire setup should give you more of an advantage at heavier settings.

    Agreed, turn off hyper threading.

I am not so sure this is leaning towards a Nvidia bias. My 460's normally come up quite well in bench marks. I would say it's not AMD CPU friendly. My scores are crap. i have tried every setting known to man and only once have I managed to break the 4000 barrier.

He already has.. just not posted it up yet. I think he should have little trouble. My extra 4 threads are making up a lot of slack. I'll disable 2 cores in BIOS later and see what's what.

    [edit]

Oh I see... you mean Stu should run 1440.. Oh yes.. he'll properly beat me at 1440.

I think I am almost on the limit. But by using AFR1 the load is spreading much better across my GPU's. That's a bit more like what I was expecting as opposed to the constant sub 4000 scores.

This is about as far as I can get on this 3770K as I cant get her stable past 4.6ghz on Catzilla so its CPU limited sadly, although I have yet to try it with HT off. Sometimes I wish I had stuck to my 2600K to be honest as my benching is poor now in some stuff with the 3770. Damn me and my upgrade choice... next time I have money burning a hole in my pocket I am going to drive straight past Scan, and into the nearest brothel instead! :D!

I did do a faster run of 19577 with ram at 2400mhz but forgot to screenshot it, but you can see it in position 7.

There doesn't seem to be a way of disabling cores in my BIOS that I can see, and setting affinity doesn't work either as Catzilla seems to over ride it, so I can't run a 4 core benchmark to see how much difference the CPU is making :(
