    Greetings!

I have a question about the CoolerMaster Cavalier 4 case.

    Specs of the system:
    MB: Abit AW9D
    CPU: Core 2 duo e6400 2.13Ghz
    RAM: DDR2 800mhz
    PSU: 350W

I would like to overclock the CPU form 2.13 Ghz to 3Ghz.
I also want to add a watercool system with a 12V DC Pump.
Is the 350W PSU will be powerfull enough?

If not, I will have to change the PSU but here's the problem:
    The case is made for a Proprietary PS2 350W (155 x 120 x 85 [ D x W x H ] )
    witch is not standard...

Is a more powerfull PSU of this size available?
Can I mod the case so a standard PSU would fit?

    Thanks for your help!

Hmm.. Does your system rely on onboard graphics?? If so, then why overclock??
And why have such a small case?? Unless you fit some of your watercooling bits outside that case there wont be much space..
And a 350W PSU?? you will need at least 500W from a good PSU maker (Tagan, Seasonic etc.) to run anything more than just your motherboard and a few drives..

For Video Card: ATI Radeon X1600 Pro
Is there any way to find a case of this size: 15,5cm x 12cm x 8.5cm?
Otherwise, can i mod an existing 500W PSU to this size?
    Thanks

From what i can see on that cases webpage, any standard size psu *should* fit.

    BUT

The optical drives are in front of where the psu mounts, so there may be some clearence issues with longer drives and psu - maybe that is why its a couple cm's shorter than a standard size unit?

the website says it is 420mm deep, so if a standard psu is 140 mm and the sony dvd that i have is 210mm ish that leaves you about 70mm extra, however im not sure how deep that front panel is, but i reckon it will still be ok if you get a shorter optical drive.

Dont forget, where the cables exit the psu itself will be a problem with all units and also where the data/power cables plug into devices will add slightly extra length to the optical drive

lol, didnt expect this reply to get so drawn out, sorry

~EDIT~ Basically, that psu is standard size, minus a few centimetres in length, the part where it screws in at the back is normal size ~EDIT~

    - dont blame me if it doesnt work tho, its just my opinion that it will work -

    Thanks for your reply.

I also think it would fit but I'd like to hear other people opinons.
Is there anybody who have this case?

    Thanks!

If your old psu is out of say a dell, or a hp/compaq then the likely hood is that it won't fit because they are different sizes.

350 watts might be pushing it for overclocking.

Its really the graphics card which draws the watts, for example a 7900gtx pulls about 220 watts underload and i'm running two on a 600w psu only 160 watts (assuming its not pulling peak watts) is used for the cpu (with a 2.66 -> 3.52ghz overclock) Hdd's and pump.
