Can anyone help me understand why CCleaner wipes all my saved passwords from Opera even though I do not have the saved icons box checked?

I use Opera & CC too; under the Cleaner menu, make sure you untick saved passwords under the Applications heading, not just under the Windows heading.

You also need to go into the Options menu and make sure you add all your favourite sites/ forums ( that you log into ) to the 'Cookies to keep' list.

Cheers...I hadn't exclluded some of the cookies. But I made sure Opera related saved passwords was unchecked and it still wiped it. If I exclude the cookies will this prevent it from being wiped everytime?

I find the best way of getting CCleaner to ignore the cookies I want to keep is as follows:

    - Run CCleaner to delete all cookies on the system
    - Just login to what you want to on the browsers you use.
    - Then open CCleaner, go to options>cookies. Move the cookies listed to the "keep" column.

Then when you run CCleaner it should delete new cookies, but save the ones you want to use for logins.
