A/V CCTV over network.

    My dads been asked if there's a way for his mate to watch the cctv from his shed in the house wirelesly. eg some sort of wired to wireless adapter>
    Can anyone help ?

    EDIT: Do you have a server and a small computer you can use connect to the camera

    Depends on what system it is.

    Is a standard camera that connects to a TV / VCR via SCART?

    As far as I know its a standered system that connects via arial connectors (or what ever)

    @Moyo2k - that was my thinking, seams like the easiest thing to do.

    If its a standard aerial connector, you could get one of them wireless TV signal throwers people connect to their Sky/Virgin boxes to throw the aerial output to another TV around the house.

    Or he could consider a wireless webcam (shameless plug: I'm selling one lol)....

    If the output is standard Co-ax (TV Aerial connector) through an FM modulator, then you'd need a tv capture card to run it through the PC.

    If it's scart / component, as previously suggested, get a wireless AV sender.

    Failing that, replace the whole thing with a wireless IP Camera.
